(Grand)Fathers Day

Greyson made a full day of Father's day. In the morning, he gave his father new pedals for his bike. Then, we headed down to Bonita to see both of the Grandparents. We barbequed at the Lira's for lunch and then we trekked all the way across to the other side of Bonita and had Dinner at the Smith's. Oh, and here is Abbey at 11 weeks.

Some pictures with the Smith family.

Here are some pictures from Abbey's camera of Greyson with various members of the Smith/Calleros Clan. Oh, and one of these is Abbey's progress at 8 weeks.

A snip and a bath...

Greyson got "snipped" on Monday. We were up pretty much all night with him, but he is feeling better today. I'll save you the pictures. Today we gave him his first bath since the hospital. He wasn't totally thrilled about that either, but as you can see, he and mom were happy that he survived the event.

Greyson has arrived!!!

He came a few weeks early, but our son, Greyson, was born on Monday, June 2 at 12:46 am.

Patty's water broke at 5:30 am on Sunday and we left for the hospital an hour later. During that hour, Josh vaccumed the family room and spazzed out about not knowing what to wear. When we got to the hospital, Patty was started immediately on Pitocin and the contractions escalated over the next few hours, reaching a crescendo at about 1pm. After testing the excruciating waters of being un-medicated, Patty got an epidural around 3 pm. Although the medication stopped Patty's pain, it also put the brakes on the labor. The contractions almost stopped completely and didn't get going again for several hours. It took until 9 pm for the contractions to build sufficiently for the real fun to begin. Patty pushed like a champ for about 3 and a half hours until little Greyson finally popped out. He was gross. After they cleaned him, he was beautiful, weighing 7 lbs. with a length of 20 inches.
